There are many benefits of circuit training, but I will highlight a few of them for you here.
By performing a series of different exercises you are training multiple muscle groups more efficiently.
Alternating exercises allows for some active recovery of specific muscle groups between sets.
The variability of different movements challenges the nervous system to coordinate more complex movement patterns which helps with the transferability of the exercises into real life activities and sports.
